to practice a healthier work/life balance I now have a scheduling system to make booking an appointment easier for you and I (though please do let me know if you have any problems).

TWO | type in all necessary information about yourself and the tattoo.

THREE | pay the deposit and the appointment is booked!

i have tried to make the booking options as simple as possible, if you want any anime (or) character tattoo of any kind choose ‘character tattoo’ and for anything else, please choose ‘fineline/dainty tattoo’.

please then read the description on sizes and see which is best suited for your tattoo idea.

once you pay your deposit, your appointment is confirmed, it will notify me with the description you typed for your tattoo idea. if I believe you’ll need more or less time for this, i will contact you and let you know then we can correct this together.

yes, you won’t be able to schedule an appointment without one. a non-refundable deposit is needed (amount depending on which tattoo booking you make) which will taken off the remaining price of your tattoo on the day of your appointment.

most scars and stretch marks can be covered but it does depend on their severity and how much they are raised. please make this clear in the additional comments section when booking in and attach some pictures so i’m able to let you know if this is possible.

depending on this your appointment may be cancelled but you will be refunded if you have notified me prior to the session.

i do, however with the fine lines and delicacy of my work it restricts certain tattoos (usually bulky/colour work) from being covered without being too dark. small blackwork tattoos though are usually fine.

please be open to what you may need to have it covered with. please upload a photo of the tattoo you want covered when booking in and i will email you to discuss further if i need to.

i will not do cover ups spontaneously on the day of the appointment without being told prior.

i use ‘dynamic ink’ and they state their products are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.

if you have booked in through the schedule system and chose the correct appointment type, and have no further questions such as cover ups etc. then no - you probably won’t hear from me until the day of our tattoo!

you will receive an automated reminder of your appointment via email the day before, but please be reassured just because you haven’t heard from me, i still will be there at our booked time and date.

on the day of your appointment only. there is a possibility of me sending you a rough sketch of the concept the morning of, as i am very much an early bird and that is when i prepare my designs, but it is not guaranteed and depends on my schedule.

i’m so happy you appreciate my artwork, style and skill enough to book your tattoo with me, and i hope from that you can have confidence in me that you will love the design i create for you too. trust and patience is appreciated at this stage.

there can be a miscommunication of what’s in your imagination to how i perceive it, and this is why i ask if you can please give as much information as possible when scheduling an appointment.

if you don’t like the design i’m happy to make changes on the day of the appointment - however depending on the length of time the changes take, this may mean your appointment will take longer, have to be rescheduled or you may be charged for re-drawing time.

that’s why it’s very important to be as thorough as possible in your booking form!

appointments will be charged for however long the allocated booking slot overruns.

on the rare occasion an appointment needs to be rescheduled, you will have to pay the outstanding balance for the original time slot and a deposit for the new time slot.

rescheduling - you can easily reschedule up to 5 days before your appointment via your email confirmation with no need to contact me (i will be notified of the change). your deposit will be transferred to the new appointment date.

if your appointment is in 5 days or less and you need to reschedule, please notify me via tylrjde.tattoo@icloud.com to let me know. you will be required to pay another deposit to secure a new appointment date.

there is a maximum of three times rescheduling before i will be in contact when a new deposit will have to be paid to reschedule again.

deposits for cancellations are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another appointment date.

you can easily cancel up to 5 days before your appointment via your email confirmation with no need to contact me (i will be notified of the change).if your appointment is in 5 days or less and you need to cancel, please notify me via tylrjde.tattoo@icloud.com to let me know.

please make sure to have eaten before getting tattooed to prevent possible fainting. you’re encouraged to bring a sugary drink, snack and water to your appointment.

please refrain from having any alcohol or other substances at least a day before your appointment. it can make my job to tattoo you very difficult due to blood-thinning and inflammation and may affect your tattoo.

if you are still under the influence on the day i will not tattoo you.

looking after your skin can affect how your tattoo heals. a couple days before the tattoo, make sure you stay hydrated and keep your skin moisturised with palmer’s cocoa butter.

for summer appointments; do NOT let your skin get burned in the sun. sunburn can affect the process of tattooing and i will have to send you home if you turn up with peeling skin and you will be charged for the whole tattoo appointment - sorry!

i accept cash or bank transfer.

tips are always very much appreciated and are such a kind gesture but not necessary! many of you bring me cute treats, stickers, books or figures and its so lovely i could cry, but please do not feel obligated to tip me!

palmer’s cocoa butter. twice a day, for a week or two.

now you have a shiny new tattoo, make sure to take off the clingfilm an hour or two after leaving the studio.

after removing, rinse tattoo with warm water and a clean towel.

feel free to wrap it again in fresh cling film overnight just to ensure any excess ink/plasma doesn’t ruin your lovely bedsheets. (please do not rewrap after the first night, as the cling film may stick to fresh scabbing and pull off when you remove it.)

from the second day onwards, once or twice a day, clean with water and apply a small amount of palmers cocoa butter!

showers are fine, just avoid using any fragrant soaps and do not submerge/soak your new tattoo for longer than ten minutes.within a few days to a week a scab/flaking should form over the tattoo (though not always) and will eventually go.

do not pick any scabbing or the ink may come out!the colour may seem dull or faded for the first couple of weeks as a stage called silver skin will be prominent, but will soon be perfectly healed!

aftercare plays a very, very large part of the final result of your tattoo. if you strictly follow the instructions and advice that i give you, your tattoo will heal cleanly and properly.

if you neglect proper aftercare and look after it poorly, the entire tattoo can fade away in certain areas prematurely. i have invested a lot of time and care to provide you with a beautiful tattoo, please do the same with the aftercare to ensure it’s the best it can be.

sometimes, with very dainty tattoos the ink can fade due to general wear when healing, that’s okay! it can be touched up and look as good as new and a second pass over will most likely heal perfectly following aftercare instructions strictly.

my policy is one touch-up free of charge within the three months of getting your tattoo.

this gives it plenty of time to make sure that the tattoo is fully healed. once past the three months, i can still touch the tattoo up, but it will be for my minimum charge of £50.
